I have that exact same dressmakers dummy! Mine was $3 at a Eutaw Forest yard sale, many years ago.

I personally do not use her often, but she has been borrowed many times, and has even been used to make a wedding dress! Mostly I have her model the clothes I never wear, but lately she lives in the closet. I did replace a few of her bolts last time she was out. I think the modern dummies are quite a bit easier to adjust. I will be pulling her out soon for my t-shirt creation. BTW - we have always called her "Piri's alter ego"

On second glance, I think my dummy is a little different, with more adjustments. Very close though.

Andelle, I think you must just be jealous that I got such a good deal on a dressmakers form at your community yardsale. Don't worry, you can come over and use it.
